Aarthi Aggarwal is an actress who primarily acts in Telugu films. She made her Telugu film debut in her first movie Nuvvu Naaku Nachav with actor Venkatesh.
Aarti was born in New Jersey. Suniel Shetty invited her to dance with him on stage in Philadelphia when she was barely 14. The big B, who was also present at the show, encouraged her father to take her to Bollywood. Her Hindi debut, Pagalpaan, opposite Karan Nath wasn't well received. She came to Tollywood instead, acted with all the stalwarts in the industry and firmly ensconced herself in the hearts of Telugu movie lovers across the globe.
Arthi’s younger sister Adithi has also joined in films. Adithi acted in Allu Arjun's Gangotri.
Arti Agarwal was married to Ujwal Kumar at Secunderabad on November 22, 2007.
Personal life:
On March 23, 2005 at around 2 AM, Agarwal attempted suicide by drinking bathroom cleaning liquid due to rumors about herself and fellow actor Tarun. She was discharged from the Apollo Hospital at 1:30pm on the same date in Jubliee Hills, Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh. On February 15, 2006 while she was coming back from dinner to her apartment, she fell while climbing the stairs, but made it to her second-floor apartment, where her father gave her painkillers. When she woke up the next day, her father called a doctor, who advised him to take her to hospital; she then underwent surgery at an hospital in Banjara Hills.

As a result, she did her first film Paagalpan in Hindi in 2001 but it was not a hit. She then went to Tollywood. She did her first Tollywood movie Nuvvu Naaku Nachav with Telugu actor Venkatesh in 2001, which was more successful.
